The item being sold is a Rubber Eyepiece Guard for Leica M6 cameras. These are newly manufactured by Cameraworks UK.
This rubber moulded eyepiece guard, specifically designed the for Leica M6 and M6TTL solves the problem deteriorated rubber on the original M6 eyepiece which is no longer available as spare part. It is designed to be slightly wider on one side to follow the curve of the top plate, just like the original. The rubber eyepiece clips over the original eyepiece, helping to prevent scratches to your prescription glasses.
Made from durable rubber, the guard features a concentric ring detail similar to the original turned metal, preserving the camera’s visual character.
