Engraved with “Heer”, military lens dating 1940’s: WWII Wehrmacht property.

The Leitz Summitar is a very compact, collapsible prime lens for Leica cameras.
The lens has been serviced.
The focus is smooth, and the infinity focus has been checked. The aperture mechanism is free from oil contamination.
The lens exterior is in good condition with some usage marks.
Optics are clear and free from fungus, oil and separation. Minimal dust might always be present. A very small spot on the coating of the front lens.
